I used Advisor to study for SSgt and made it first time with about 50 hours of study. I scored a 71 on the PDG. This year I used Advisor again but logged around 50 hours using the quizzes and 100+ hours using the printed book from McMillan. I followed the "combat study method". Using the quizzes to check progress and identify areas of weakness was vital to my success. Thanks to McMillan guides, I made TSgt first time with a 92.9 on the PDG and will sew on TSgt with 6 years of time in service.
